How long have you been in business?
Founded in 1982, Independent Business Group was established to provide business form products to small and medium-sized companies throughout the West Coast. Throughout the years our company has grown to a single source business products company providing business forms, printing, promotional products and office supplies to companies of all sizes across the Nation and beyond.

How many employees work for IBG?
Throughout our three locations, Independent Business Group employs over 60 people. Today, seven of the original 13 employees are still with the company.

Why should I switch to you as my supplier?
Increasing your productivity and reducing costs is our focus, and has been our focus for nearly two decades. Our suite of products and services - as well as years of experience and ongoing training - allow us to provide you with a total business product solution. Based on the needs of your company, we will customize a business product solution specifically for you that may include printing, promotional products, office supplies and a variety of business services.

Will you match prices?
While our prices are competitive, we will make every effort to offer you the best value possible. Our customer service specialist will always try to match the right product to your budget.

What is your standard delivery time?
Because of our diverse product offering there is not a standard delivery time. Office supplies are generally delivered next day while printed and promotional products, due to their custom nature, require more time. Please let us know what your project deadlines are so that we can make sure we deliver you a quality product on time.

Where is the product manufactured?
Our network of print facilities and distribution centers are located throughout the United States. Whether you are local or across the country we will deliver your product in a timely manner.

Do I have to pay for freight?
Office supplies are always delivered at NO charge. Most of our print and promotional product facilities are located on the West Coast allowing us to make deliveries with low freight costs. In order to always provide you the best value, we will use our other facilities if their equipment better matches the project requirements.

Can I give you artwork on disk or via email?
Electronic artwork on disk is preferred. Please take a look at our Client Supplied Artwork Specifications page for instructions on how to format and supply artwork for your job. IBG can work with your artwork or our graphic design studio can work with you to create original artwork.

Is your graphic design studio a full service design firm?
IBG maintains a full service in-house graphic design studio. Our team of graphic designers and network of illustrators, copywriters and photographers are dedicated to assist you with the conceptual development and creation of communication and marketing material. We can manage the entire creative process from concept to the final production of the printed piece, work with your in-house designer or take your final artwork on disk.

Which contact do I call with questions or to place an order?
Each account is designated an account executive to manage the account along with a team of customer support representatives that service the account. Generally you would contact the customer support team for proposals, with product questions or questions about a particular order. We have a separate support team for printing/promotional products and office supplies. Your account executive will set up your account, customize a business product solution specifically for you and make sure you are receiving superior customer service. If you aren't sure whom to call, contact your account executive and they will take care of you.

How do I know if the Strategic Outsourcing Program is right for my company?
Companies that are eligible for this program are those who have multiple cost centers in a single location or have multiple locations, use a significant amount of printed materials or office supplies and need to manage and control inventory. In order to determine if your company is right for this program we will perform a discovery to find out if we can offer you guaranteed savings.

IBG began servicing small and medium-sized companies throughout the West Coast. Today our customers represent companies of all sizes and many different industries throughout the Nation and beyond.

Can I see samples of your products?
Although we know business products inside and out we understand that sometimes it is hard for you to visualize the final product. If at all possible we will show you a sample or provide you with a representation of the product you are purchasing. We also have a portfolio and promotional product showroom available for viewing.
